I am a certified Spanish teacher (ELE – Español como Lengua Extranjera), and I am passionate about helping my students build confidence and communicate naturally in Spanish.

My journey as a Spanish teacher began in 1997, when I immigrated to Canada with limited English. While studying English as a Second Language at university, I was given a unique opportunity that changed my life—one of my teachers offered to exchange English lessons for Spanish lessons.

My journey as a Spanish teacher began in 1997, when I immigrated to Canada with limited English. While studying English as a Second Language at university, I was given a unique opportunity that changed my life—one of my teachers offered to exchange English lessons for Spanish lessons.
At the beginning, I wasn’t sure how to structure a lesson, but with his guidance, I quickly developed my teaching skills. Soon, through word of mouth, neighbors and acquaintances began asking me to teach them Spanish as well.
What started as a simple exchange became a true passion. I discovered how much I enjoyed helping others learn and communicate in a new language. From the very beginning, I focused on adapting my lessons to each student’s needs, learning style, and goals.
Over the years, I continued to grow as a teacher and later pursued formal certification with ELE International (Español como Lengua Extranjera).
Today, as a certified Spanish instructor based in Vancouver, I am excited to help new students build confidence and achieve their language goals in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
